ChipInHead is the blog of artist and tech marketer Suzanne Forbes, an expat New Yorker in Oakland Berlin.

This is a picture taken by her friend Chris Chun. You can see Suzanne’s artwork here.

Suzanne was trained as an artist at the Art Students League, Parsons, The School of Visual Arts and the Minneapolis College of Art & Design.

She was previously a courtroom artist for CBS and CNN, a penciller for DC Comics on Star Trek, and a live drawing chronicler of alternative culture in the Bay Area. Now she paints portraits and teaches drawing in Berlin.

If you would like to support Suzanne’s art and writing, please visit her Patreon.

*This blog contains republished content from her blog at T324.com, where she spent two years as the marketing manager, and some of it is pretty San-Francisco-marketing-y. You have been warned.

Also, if you’re looking for Rachel Ketchum, blonde New York graffiti artist who went to Stuyvesant in 1980, you’ve found her.

I really appreciated (because liked isn’t the correct word) your post on depression. Mine has never been that severe, more physical symptoms than mental, but it’s a good reminder that it’s a real illness. People who don’t have it have a hard time understanding that it’s just as debilitating as, for instance, lupus (or other completely physical illnesses).

You drew me and my two friends on the train in Berlin about a week ago. Two of us had skateboards. I’m wondering if we could get a copy of it. We looked on your website but couldn’t find it.

    Thank you!
